Credit to Sam Pittman, Kendal Briles and Barry Odom are a pretty damn good coordinator combo.

 

After watching Pittman's recruiting presser, he seems to be a little in over his head or definitely doesn't like to be in front of a camera/a lot of people. Snagging two really good coordinators was a must for him. He needs to follow Dabo's way to run a program. Be the CEO type HC, bring in good assistants, and close on top recruits.

 

ESPN reporter Ed Aschoff died today of pneumonia. Goodness.

 

34 years old. And today was his birthday.

Not sure I ever saw him when he wasn't smiling.

 

Had a friend die of the flu when we were both around 27 or so. She worked out all the time. Ran half marathons and stuff. Completely floored me.

Had an 11 year old neighbor die of the flu when I was 13. Completely unexpected. Apparently when I am blackout drunk, I talk about it even though I don't really think about it otherwise. Or do I?
