I think Brady’s genius has been wildly overestimated.

 

I don't know. Either Burrow figured out how to play QB and went from looking like a UFA to the #1 pick in a year or the new guy in the booth had a major impact.

 

Burrow says if he sees a dbs back in man coverage deep, he is throwing it. Kind of the same as JG, except he waits till the wr is running 5 yards wide open, allows the db to catch, then underthrows it.

 

Hard to know. I just know if I were the Bengals I would have tried to make it happen. Has Burrow commented much on Brady’s influence? I didn’t watch all the Heisman stuff. I haven’t heard him say much. Talks about O a lot.

 

I dunno, Ensminger was OC there last year, and they weren't even remotely this efficient/explosive on offense. Went from 70th in yards to 1st. 38th in nation points to scoring the most points in a college football season ever. The same LSU offense that had been synonymous with frozen molasses for so many years had that kind of turnaround in one year.

It's possible it could be getting slightly overinflated, but there's obviously something with him. Definitely worth the gamble, imo.
