All you have to do is watch the local news. You’ll get a feel in < 30 minutes

yes and no place is more different with different areas than LA. Hollywood is not the same as malibu which isn't the same as pasadena, nor does it have the same people, same culture, or same feel.

Yeah, wrongly worded, because there aren’t enough people within the tech sector. But of those who work in the tech sector - where it used to be one of the few industries pulling people in from out of state because of Silicon Valley, it lost one of the largest portions of its workforce out of state within the past year relative to other industries. I’ll try to dig up the article that goes more in depth on it, but it was taking information from the California/US census.

meanwhile here are some pretty pictures for you:

The biggest gaining Out of State county saw +6,552. There were 6 counties that saw at least that number in the negative, 4 of which saw -20,000 or more (LA was the leader at -97,000). It would appear that the market drive is inbred, with intrastate moves driving up those prices.

I'm with Droski. Almost perfect weather 10/11 months of the year beats the summer heat of the south. It also beats the cold.

They may not be the same, but they do all share one trait.

    Superficial trash.

And Florida beaches hold a massive power gap over Cali beaches.

the superficial thing is a small part of LA. the vast majority of people are not in the industry.

the water is warmer, but the weather at the beaches in LA is far far better.
