When that ended, I started looking more into the Japanese scene. Misawa, Mutoh ..etc.
I cannot come up with words that would sufficiently express the level of hatred I had for Steamboat. That said, he was a magnificent in ring performer. The match he had with Savage at WM might be the best ever. The series of matches he had with Flair was the greatest multimatch set ever.
Not sure if Vince, Ole, or TBS owns the rights, but somebody needs to put vintage Georgia Championship Wrestling on the air.
Eddie Gilbert and Jimmy Valiant deserve mention because each of them could play either side of the fence and sell the fans.
Not sure I've ever seen anyone do a better job of enraging a crowd than he did during his feud with Lawler.
