A dove and a pigeon are pretty much the same thing and doves are delicious

Had a pigeon pasta dish last trip to Napa and it was outstanding. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was delicious.

I wouldn't eat a pigeon from here because they're pretty much a flying rat.

I imagine the ones in expensive napa restaurants are bred to be eaten.

This place wasn't so bad. Have you dined at Oenotri? I was impressed.

I'm not so sure there is anything wrong with a Tennessee pigeon.

Actually Tennessee is solely responsible for the increase in pigeon forge-ry.

    On fire tonight!

Pigeon Forge (and the river) was actually named after the passenger pigeon. Just FYI.

Never been there. Bottega is the best restaurant I've been to there outside of the French laundry. I haven't been to napa in years though. I almost solely go to the Russian river these days.

They eat some pretty nasty stuff. It all depends on where they come from.
