I just got hungry for breakfast for dinner.

 

I have a friend who bought an Arby's gold card at a charity auction in like 1985. The card entitles him to one free regular roast beef per day for life. It is one of two left in this region, and he guesses he uses it 3 times a week.

I don't think they expected him to live this long.

 

That's awesome. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

If you figure the time value of money over the years, I'm not even sure it was that great of a deal.

If you just figure the cool factor of being able to walk into any Arby's in the Clarksville MSA, including Hopkinsville, Ft Campbell, and Oak Grove, and demanding a sammich and walking out without paying, then it is priceless.

 

Am sure he's a regular at a couple spots. No additional explaning to do.
