Were you more outraged finding out that we had hired the only coach that Dooley defeated who was still employed OR finding out Palin was on the ticket in 08?

 

He isn't a good president, but comparing him to that piece of Alaskan trash is ridiculous.

Palin is a knuckle-dragger incarnate. She's a glorified carnival barker.

 

I'm pretty satisfied that the majority of thinking Republican voters have no interest in Palin holding national office and are sufficiently sick of her. But much like Democratic voters, the unthinking portion is quite large.

 

My mom loves her.

There comes a point when the parent/child dynamic flips. The child has to look out for the well-being of the parent. Sometimes a little chastisement is necessary.

 

There really is nothing good you can say about her. Im a moderate and recognize the need for bipartisanism. As long as she's around the lunatics of the GOP voters will continue getting too much of a say in the parties direction and remove a much needed gray area.

 

My mom likes her too. Probably because she is easier for them to relate to. With my mom, it is a fairly superficial affection.

I flip the dynamic too much. I'm just white noise now.

 

I hope she keeps her little schtick up for years to come.
