Why haven't I heard much about Lane this Fall?

I have thought Lane every since the Orange and White game, but it looks as if Neal is passing him

is Neal still a fumble machine?

Neal is the guy if the season started today.

You've been Neal's harshest critic. How does this sit with you?

    50 passes a game...

He's lowered his shoulder some and hasn't been as shy of contact this fall. I still think he's a turnover waiting to happen

Sounds like Neal and Young are ahead of Lane ATP.

That should bring up some big red flags. He is the most complete back on this team and he has ****ed around in camp so far....

Hmmm. Shades of 2006? Hardesty and Foster can't do anything and our only hope of running the ball is a speedster like Coker hopefully breaking a long run every now and then?

I love having amazing receivers and a great passing game just as much as the next guy, but man would I love to be able to pound the ball down people's throats again...

Two fastest players on the team recently were Neal and Young.

Those two are your top two backs for opening day.

Was hoping to see Lane come along.

Neal scares the crap out of me. Wondering if a guy can read blocks and make cut backs is one thing, just hoping he doesn't fumble is another.

Old school. I will give a brotha an "amen!" on your statement.

There's just something about watching your team physically dominate the line of scrimmage for an entire game that blows a good passing game out of the water.

For one, the weather/field becomes less of a factor. It is just more reliable.

    And demoralizing

The last drive of the 1998 Arkansas game is the UT I grew up with. Need a score? Pound Travis Henry. No timeouts? It's okay, he'll get a first down every time.

I grew up with Tony Thompson rushing for 200 in a half! Let's wrap our brain around that for a moment.
