This. Take your opponent's will. It's a beautiful thing.

If I'm not mistaken, we had a drive in the '04 UF game that covered 80 yards, and resulted, in a TD that was completely on the ground.

I could be wrong, but I figure it takes more energy to defend the run than to execute a run. Whereas passing is a zero-sum energy tactic.

The winning drive against Arky in '98 is my all time favorite series.

Wasn't there a screen pass on that drive?

Jay Graham busting loose against Bama was always a favorite of mine.

Rushing the passer and covering receivers is pretty taxing.

I think it's going to come down to who's the better pass blocker with our offense. Don't think Young is an every down back nor can he match up against the bigger LBs blitzing. He'll be a package player.

I've watched that drive so many times. I was only like 6 or 7 at the time of that game, so I didn't really appreciate how amazing that kind of smash mouth football was. Now I get movement every time I watch it.

I would have hated to have tried to tackle Henry. He ran so hard and low to the ground. There was nothing to hit but knees or shoulder pads.

I believe there was a TD drive in the 98 Alabama game that was all on the ground as well.

    Nope.

Schaefer was the QB, and IIRC it was 80 yards on 13 plays, all runs. It was beautiful.
