Uh, yes he is and was all last season. I believe he had the most minutes of any Dortmund player last season
And the EPL is awash with cash, and the bigger clubs all have a boatload of money. And any team that picks him up will instantly have Americans following their team.
And the main consequence of all that EPL cash is paying 50m+ for guys like Richarlison and Harry Maguire
yeah but there have still been some good business done. Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko to West Ham for ~50 mil total, JM Seri to Fulham for 30 mil, Lucas Torreira to Arsenal for 30 mil, Shaqiri for 15 mil, hell Kluivert went for 18 mil to Roma. Its when these big clubs make a player a desperate need that their value skyrockets.
Felipe Anderson, Shaqiri, and Yarmolenko lol Torreira was a good deal. Kluivert tbd. Good talent but hasn’t been tested yet
Bonucci swapped for Caldara and Higuain. Good bit of business by Milan. Working on a midfielder now maybe. We’ve got real people in charge now.
Well you guys took one of the best defenders in the world and made him average, and he wasn't in decline.
Didn’t watch much after October, I guess. Once Montella got sacked and he and Romagnoli gained some chemistry they were as good as any pairing in the league. Milan struggled because their leading goal scorer was a 19 year old who scored 10 goals, and needed 2 on the last match day to get there.
Tim Weah may get more play at PSG than I thought before the summer started. He scored today in the French Super Cup and looks like minutes are headed his way, no small feat on a team starting Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani. This young generation of Americans seems really promising.
