Fiorentina-Napoli sounded like a banger. I was passed out after three and a half days of amusement parks
What percentage of Italians are this stupid and racist? Seems like a large number https://www.espn.com/soccer/interna...ultras-defend-cagliari-racist-abuse-of-lukaku
They have this weird idea over there among some fans that nothing is off limits when it comes to trying to get in a player’s head or whatever, and for some reason the league will not take a stand against it. It seems to me that a lot of the ultras, of any club, are just general POSs. The average person hates it as much as anybody else. This also isn’t new for Cagliari. It happens there more than anywhere. And until somebody does something about it it’s going to keep happening
That sucks for the vast majority but it’s one possibility. Docking points has been suggested. Also using video to determine who is doing it, and then banning them for life, but that’s probably easier said than done.
I understand what they are trying to say, but they have to be among the densest, most entitled people to think they get to define what racism is and isn't to a black person on the receiving end of such chants. Oh, those monkey chants aren't really racist, they are just trying to get in your head? No, [uck fay] you, they are racist. Are they doing monkey chants to anyone other than black players? Do they understand the connotation of the monkey chant? I also like the idea "the real racists are in northern Europe". Man, that's quite a mindset to have to upset there.
Why is Berhalter so obsessed with Trapp? Also, playing Zardes and Trapp together in Dest's debut? Is he trying to push him to the Netherlands?
FS1 does so much to prop up a poor US team. In the big graphic - "undefeated in last 10 friendly matches". In small print below - "1 win in 9 competitive matches".
The one play aside, which was just a nice move by Tecacito, I'm liking Dest quite a bit. I hope he stays with us.
What the [uck fay] does it take for us to put Josh Sargent on the field? Dude started and scored in the Bundesliga this weekend for Werder Bremen and we trot out Zardes and now Morris.
