Sounds like he got a pretty mixed reaction, despite being amongst Georgia and Alabama football fans, who should be his main supporters.
I’d say 55/45 cheers to boos. Maybe 60/40. Mercedes Benz Stadium and/or ESPN pumping in boos was the best conspiracy theory du jour.
Fake voters, fake protesters, fake polls, fake boos. Couldn't possibly be that we're just a divided country. Has to be a conspiracy.
I don't see the divided part changing any time soon. It's been going on a while and how both sides play the games during their campaigns
I don't mind Travis' shtick when it comes to sports, but the political angle aggravates me. He celebrates Trump as the best troller on the internet, but that isn't a president's [uck fay]ing job. I would have more respect for Travis' position if he actually pushed something of substance in support of Trump. His vendetta against ESPN is, on the other hand, more fitting, if a little silly and pandering to his audience.
People are saying he botched the words to the anthem too, but honestly I was taking a knee in my living room and missed it.
I know. I could care less about how many were booing or not. It's such a small sample size of people. I just found it funny that he was looking for a scene to grandstand about his phony anthem controversy and it went over fairly lukewarm overall.
I'm not sure of anything, but would have almost accepted Hillary's winning the election just to see her introduced to that crowd. Almost.
