I thought the arena there was pretty nice when I was there last spring for the NCAAT. Found a good burger joint & overpriced hipster food court

The basketball (and other sports facilities) arena are not too bad. Re: "hipster" ... It's Charlotte "downtown".

Maybe it is "uptown"? I forget which. They are pretty sensitive re: calling it uptown or downtown. I live in the country, north of Charlotte city proper, so it is "downtown" to me, but I'm an uncouth hick.

I am partial to our UT sports facilities (Neyland, TBA, Lindsey Nelson) and fans.

Panthers game was the worst sporting atmosphere I've ever been in

Honestly feels like a bad faith move by Hornets. Lakers are kinda [uck fay]ed for this season now. They have no starting caliber center on the roster, and I’m not sure the buyout market will offer reprieve.

Sounds to me the Lakers may have backed out. Who knows?

I'll be the first to admit, I am not in any way knowledgeable on the inner workings of the NBA front offices.

Bummer, I was sort of looking forward to seeing what Dalton could do along side Grant.

There is currently nothing I want more than you having talked some rep into exchanging the jersey and already sending it off.

I actually did talk to someone and they granted a "one time exception". Fortunately, my son wanted to keep the Laker jersey. His exact words were "I'm not wearing a freaking Hornets jersey". So, bullet dodged even though I imagine they'd have given me another Lakers jersey.

Oh look, the guy who doesn't watch the NBA is back to talk about the NBA he doesn't watch.

Since we are doing the ridiculous "LeBron isn't clutch" dance again, here you go:

Just posted the image. Is it inaccurate? If we can bust on Jordan Howell for missing too many, we can bust on Lebron. 1-29 is 1 away from as bad as it gets.
Why you make it about me?

And, since we know you didn't watch, I'll add some context for you:
    • Luka is the actual story. He shot 5/18 from the field and 1/9 from 3.

    • Rui missed 2 free throws with 37 seconds left and a chance to tie the game

    • LeBron hit a 3 with 6 seconds left to cut the lead to 1, which was the only way he even had a chance to tie it in the final seconds in the first place.
Oh, and LeBron dropped 40 on the road with no Luka the following night (on a back to back).
