Killer instinct is cool. It can be a good thing or a bad thing. Kobe's killer instinct was probably second only to Jordan's, and he's not a top 10 player. Killer instinct isn't the disqualifying factor that Jordan's fans want it to be.

It would be like me saying that LeBron always makes the right basketball play, even if it involves passing up a shot, and he's this great. Therefore, I'll judge all future superstars based on whether they play that specific way.
