The Bucks are going to have to step it up on their perimeter defense if they want to win a championship.
Nearly every time I've watched him, Zion has done something that is just impossible. The "all he can do is dunk" crowd is in for a rude awakening.
Giannis with 41 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists today in 35 minutes. I can only imagine his numbers if he had any skill. Also, I can't remember a team with a record like the Bucks getting talked about so little.
And they are 19-4 vs. the West, the best interconference record in the league. Plus, the west isn't really much better than the east.
So they’ve lost 4 out of 23 games against the west and 4 out of 37 against the East? Doesn't that suggest that the West is a decent bit better than the East? People aren’t talking about them because they were similarly dominate last year and then folded when it counted. People need to see them do it during the playoffs to care.
The Lakers are 32-7 vs. the West and 14-6 vs. the East. Every team in the West has a worse record vs. the East than does the Bucks vs. the West. What does this suggest? People aren't talking because of silly reasons such as yours and they aren't in a major market like L.A. They are having an historic season and great teams are littered with situations where they fell short on their first forays.
1. Small market. 2. Gannis is a beast but for whatever hasn't become superstar from the marketing aspect. 3. Last year's conference finals. That said, they are fully capable of winning it.
