have had multiple small business owners tell me that they are having problems hiring people because they now make more money on unemployment

 

I agree, actually.

 

Which is why if you see anyone, anywhere, without a mask on, they are no good liberals wanting to stay on unemployment.

So you should make sure they know it.

 

Rolled the dice with some play money on ET after seeing TT, I think, mention it. Has been a fun ride.

 

Doubled in 3 months? That's pretty solid.

 

I'm only up 60%, but not complaining.

They were very beat up and seemed like a solid play with a dividend. My original interest was pre-COVID though, so I sold on March 9. But re-bought near the low. Took some losses on the way down before I got out, but I'm up not counting dividends.

 

I also picked up EPD near the bottom. Good company and with oil and gas so cheap, seemed like a decent play.

 

Masks will prevent the spread. People who are on unemployment and don't want to work want to continue the spread, to continue unemployment.* Not wearing a mask will continue the spread. Continuing the spread keeps unemployment.

Ergo, those without masks are drawing unemployment.

 

We are officially in a recession.

 

On the same day S&P erases all 2020 losses.

Yeah crazy to be in a recession and start of a bull market again.

 

I love the people that still want to talk about market indicators. No one, none, has a flipping clue what is going on now.

 

If you want to talk about people without a clue, how about them morons buying Hertz stock. Gonna be some painful lessons in bankruptcy law for a lot of people.

 

This is what we call aiming for a quick profit.

 

it's all momentum at this point.

 

This Hertz thing is crazy. If played right, there's a decent little profit to be made.
