I'm not sure which one I like the best. Perhaps it was Burrow as the "perennial back up at OSU" as he scores 6 TDs tonight. Maybe the mention of Vandy scoring 38 points. Possibly him arguing about balance, as if it was meaningful, and acting as if anyone else made the argument. I think, though, it was telling everyone how stupid they were, being wrong and showing up after the game to attempt to spin it back on people. This by saying he just cares about UT while, attempting, to shame people as LSU fans when the whole argument was about analysis, not whom they wanted to win. Typical Tenny.
Opened at 69.5. Depending on the book, it finished between 66-67. A lot of winning money went to the under.
LSU let off the gas big time in the 4th quarter. Plus, I'm surprised the Clemson offense fell apart so thoroughly in the 2nd half. The over should have been a shoo in.
Tweet Content from The Athletic CFB: “Amazing Stat: LSU is the first team to beat the Top 4 teams in the preseason AP poll (Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Oklahoma). And the Tigers did it by an average of 21 points.”
Hard to argue they aren't the GOAT team and QB of alltime in college football. O and Burrow hard not to pull for as well.
no, because you have to account for that stuff. The way I figured it, to go over 70 they'd have to average more than 35. for both teams to score 35 or more, both defenses would need to utterly collapse and neither team be able to control the clock. This wasn't a Big 12 game. at some point, one or both teams would start grinding clock to close it out. NYY called it. I also couldn't see 70. It wasn't 70. It was not a shoo in. 70 is a tall order without one team totally collapsing
Well one team did collapse. I saw a stat that Lawrence was off target 15 times. Said his previous high was 7. They were pressing. And if Clemson had scored more, LSU would have scored more too. Uni is right despite being wrong. LSU defense is pretty average. Clemson pressed and failed because they knew they had to score every time to keep up with LSU. If both teams play their game for 60 mins it probably ends up LSU 56-35.
