they didn't have enough evidence he took money. if gurley was dumb enough to deposit this money in a bank account or take a check he's screwed. like the idiot guy at tenn who used western union to get his money.
I think most sane people do agree. NCAA is stupid and if richt has a back bone he lawyers up and gets gurley back in the game.
Local radio host just did a search on ebay of Heisman trophy candidates who have autographed stuff for sale on ebay. Most have a few (could have been acquired on fan day); Gurley has hundreds.
Lol. The bubbas here in georgia are losing heir minds over this. How unfair lol. I hate that we suck.
They always find a way to beat Tech, but there's a real possibility that UGA could lose out except Charleston Southern until then. Will Muschamp just might save his job for one more year.
Bill comes due after 10 years with the Crossroads demon. 1998-2008. Sounds about right. We caught break after brrak in '98.
SI is saying this is over $400 he got for signing items....80 items, $5 a pop. To summarize, the guy who paid him doesn't even have to issue him a 1099 for taxes. Insane.
The only reason I can see for keeping the rule in place is to prevent booster x from giving players $1000 for a signature, etc. I say at least cap it.
