Laughable. The folks at ESPN are either trolling very easily trolled UT fans or they are providing crack, pipes, lighters and comfortable seating areas to the writers there nowadays....

 

Anything that ramps up the expectations is good with me.

So, Butch and staff have taken the 12th best team and made them an unranked team with a losing record?

 

My understanding is that it is partly based on expectations going forward. That we have a weaker schedule coming up and played close against several good teams seems to be what is inflating our "power."

How do they derive "power" out of beating weak ass teams that they OUGHT to beat?? (Not that there is any more than one, two at most guaranteed wins)....

It's simple analytics. I never thought Lyle could get this team to its current spot (12th) after the crap he inherited three years ago. I'm so proud and lucky to call Lyle Jones my team's head coach. The man just gets it.
