didn't read through first pages but initial thoughts are... people need shared experiences in order to grow together, anything that creates accountability, leadership and competition is a positive thing... if it creates some leaders on the team and brings them together then good... is it a little cheesy sure.

I agree with everything else to an extent, but why make such a big deal about it? Shut the **** up and do it. I can't stand the fact the term "VOLympics" is now in this fanbase's vocabulary. You've got a handful of players that stop by the NICU because they want to and no one talks about it. You get a silly game based on not wearing a hat crooked or pants sagging and you scream it from the rooftops for people to see and hear it.

I would love for this to be false.

I tend to agree, but the bottom line is this: were we kicking people's derrières on the football field, nobody would give a flying flip about this.

I highly doubt this gets schemed up if the team is winning

 

It's a deal that he's probably done before, but then the morons in the PR department get a hold of it and make a big deal out of it. JMO
