Sheridan has already been here - not sure how long but he was hired in 2014. He was fired from Taggart's staff after the 2013 season in which USF was dead lost in offensive TDs and near dead last in yards per game in FBS. So there's your defacto QB coach. The only reason he has a job is because of his dad and Michigan ties.

 

Only if his hire accompanies the healing of many wounds and a massive righting of the ship. The problems are certainly much deeper than Hart.

 

Lyle is an egomaniac. Trust me - I am the custodian of Tennessee football. He thinks that the best way to protect UT ball is to make sure he surrounds himself with more yes men that buy into the Butch mantra and present no outside polluting ideas. He is the hope of UT and the more people that buy into that the better the program will be. It is his offense. We duly rely on him and he thinks he can do it.

His hard work that has always gotten him buy is getting ready to be not near enough.
