Get an Apple Time Capsule Wireless Router. You get a router plus 2 terabytes of storage that the whole family can use. Create password protected files for those "special moments" and store a digital copy of more photos/home videos than you could produce in 2 lifetimes.
Whatever you do - do not do this. Unless you are technologically challenged I suppose. Be willing to spend $200 though on a regular router that is pimped out to prepare for the future.
I freely admit I hate apple with a passion and go out of my way to avoid it. and despite that I own a iphone.
I've had a netgear for two years and haven't had a single issue yet. I also paid a lot more that $80 for it. I hate to agree with bass, but get the latest technology. You will be thankful later. I'm going to take a shower now to wash this stench off.
In my experience Time Capsules work really well until you need to change a setting, any setting, from the factory default. Then it turns into a steaming pile of crap. I recommend this Netgear router http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0AJ12M6681. Of course the first thing I'd do with any router is remove the firmware and install DD-WRT, but if you aren't up for the technical challenge this is a good model.
I use an ASUS RT-AC68U. It was expensive as hell ... couple hundred dollars. But that's what they told me I needed. I have four separate Roku boxes on four TVs that are streaming plus everyone's phones, iPad, computers, etc. I've never had an issue and it's reach is amazing. I get two bars on my phone 400 feet from the house.
I have one of these you can have for free. http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-RangeMax-WNR1000-Wireless-Router/dp/B001UI4RTG
Agreeing with bass when it comes it computers and technology is one of the smartest things you could ever do.
