It is one of my biggest pet peeves.

I don't know if they put on the twang but "artists" (using the term lightly) such as Aaron Lewis or Uncle Cracker jumping over as country acts as soon as sales decline with their original sound. I don't know who to dislike more, ignorant country fans that eat their shit up or the artists that are as phony as the new cowboy hat they're wearing. Country is the new pop and has become a refuge for declined acts to get a few more paychecks.

 

I'm still stunned that "22" is a popular song.
