Sheriff's Association would likely also whine about this.

I thought I was cool when I had a switchblade comb in middle school.

Loved it when guys would take out the comb and try to put a knife blade in it's place.

Never understood why one could conceal carry a firearm but not have a blade of certain kinds.

I have a couple of Schrade "out the front" automatics that I would like to carry but can't.

    Tis not over yet.

Federal law prohibits introducing an automatic knife into interstate commerce without certain qualifications.

So I can possess one in Tennessee, but until dealers start carrying them, I can't buy one and have it shipped.

Think of it this way, I am closer to Canada than I am Memphis. Just think of how many states, area-wise, you get to carry if you ever come & visit. I'm a turn that frown upside-down kinda guy.

Can't carry them across state lines, either.

Can't even ship between two states that allow possession.

Fed locked this one down hard in the 50s.

American made 110 buck knife is still my go to everyday pocket knife.

I think he lives near Kingsport, in which case I believe he is closer to Canada than Memphis.
