Rachel Dolezal thinks she is black. In response everyone of all races came together to laugh at her idiocy. Yet we are to take this person with brown skin who identifies as "white" super duper seriously. Makes sense.

Neonazi is just personal politics? I thought it was an ideology responsible for killing 6 million jews and millions of others.

You think the Census and all demographics got it wrong and you are the expert on identity, got it.

Are you saying he is a black hispanic? Doesn't look like it to me.

Or maybe he's just a crazy, evil murderous person whose personal identity and politics is totally irrelevant like you educated us on the importance of disregarding the personal identity and politics of the Covenant mass murderer when discussing events like these in the larger context.

But yes, conflating a brown skinned latino with the actions of members within the ideology of the National Socialist German Workers Party 80 years ago is a highly relevant and logical point to be harping on for sure. No doubt Hitler would have loved his pretty brown skin interacting with his aryan gene pool he envisioned for his 3rd reich masterplan.

It doesn't matter that he is a white hispanic or a neonazi really, but that you and many others refuse to accept it is pretty funny.

Ya, it doesn't matter to you so much that it admittedly "pisses you off" how we are daring to use our eyeballs to conclude the obvious that this dude is not actually "white". Hilariously ironic and contradictory stuff out of you in the span of just a few minutes. But when the heels are dug in, they are dug in. You do you man. "Losing" an internet argument simply ain't an option for you.

I'll remember this next time someone like Rachel Dolezal is attacked for claiming she is Black despite not actually being Black. "It's what race she personally identifies as that matters, idiot! Not what her actual race happens to be!" Clown world times we find ourselves in.

People used to drink cocaine and didn't shoot everybody up. But it was also a hell of a lot harder to rapidly kill people back then.

He's literally white hispanic. Losing arguments is awful hard when basic facts are the basis of them.

I mean nevermind the fact that people were rolling around with shit like Tommy Guns you see in every mobster movie. Weren't fully automatic guns allowed to be owned by private citizens for decades until the 1986 federal law that officially made fully automatic guns illegal? Were mass shootings still a huge problem before 1986 when civilian possession of guns much more powerful than today's AR-15 was still legal?

Mankind did unspeakable things to each other in the 19th/20th century. However as evil as mankind proved to be in the 19th and 20th century, the stats seem to show the random mass shooting of civilians in non wartime settings was far less prevalent in the pre Columbine era. You had the 10 year semi ban enacted in 1994. That freeze didn't prevent Columbine and the DC Sniper from using their guns to unleash carnage. Nevermind the fact that the resulting media depiction of these events made these evil [uck fay]s more (in)famous than Elvis. After those two events the next big mass murder event that stopped the news cycle was the Virginia Tech murder in 2006. A massacre carried out by a handgun.

Just saying, I think it's a tad more nuanced than fixating on the semi-auto ban that expired in 2004.

And by nuanced, this means you think what should be tried, specifically?

A US Census whatabouism is the winning point being made by you! As if whatever the hell the US Census is up to has anything whatsoever to do with people like me pointing out the obvious that this dude with brown skin isn't actually "white". Persuasive! What til you discover that people mocked Elizabeth Warren for identifying herself for decades as an actual Native American ethnically. You'll be really geared up to defend her honor!

Don't worry, I'll be sure to schedule an appointment with an optometrist first thing tomorrow. My eyes failing to see someone as belonging to a race they clearly are not sounds like a serious problem needing addressed! Can't be having my eyes malfunction like that at such an early age!

I'm in agreement with the stance you have taken here: I'm not in favor of mass gun classification bans.

He's a white hispanic. Sorry his melanin levels do not meet your personal race standards. I am sure he would have understood where you were coming from with those kinds of concerns.

And Rachel Dolezal is a white Black lady. I'm sorry you and society failed to accept her word on it.

So your nuanced view is that we should...?

I'm sorry you are too stubborn to accept the existence of a group because it isn't white enough to you to "really" be white.

You guys really don't have to flex your ignorance of differing cultures so religiously. "Mejorar la raza" is a famous, explicitly racist trope about bettering bloodlines by only having kids with white people. The word "Hispanic" is literally derived from those who lived in Hispania (Iberian Peninsula, i.e. Spain/Portugal for our resident idiots without global geography/ cultural awareness), and the whole [uck fay]ing language is named after the European country chock full of white people who colonized every part of the Western [uck fay]ing hemisphere.

Do you idiots not think white Europeans who spoke Spanish didn't have kids in the Western hemisphere? You really think none of them continued to have white skin? The dude in the picture is just as white as Smiff, and we know that because there are pictures of both of them right here on this site.

That doesn't even begin to address the stupidity of comparing vehicle death rate being 2x that of gun death rates -- considering the average US citizen spends at least 1000x the amount of hours using a vehicle as opposed to a gun (that being an absurdly conservative estimation). The denial you guys live in is otherworldly.
