I hate myself for being born in this state. I hate my accent. I hate my given name and my surname. I hate listening to my mom’s voice as she parrots fox propaganda. I hate this forum and I hate everyone who doesn’t have the balls to ban me.

 

I don't get the accent part. People like the accent. Move out of the South, folks find it charming.

I don't have it but wish I did.

I love this state (East TN moreso). I love my grandparents accents, I’m sad there aren’t many left that have it. Proud of my surname too. As I’m sure many on this board can say as well, it means my ancestors came to the US, skipped the cities and went straight to Appalachia and lived happy lives scraping whatever living they could out of the ground. And when the South seceded they told them to go straight to hell. East TN forever.
