    Croom isn't a bad coach

At this point, I'd take Mason if they were my only two options.

Who is worse? Beliema or Botch? It's tough, but I still go Botch.

A lot of us have been around a bunch of rodeos in various fields. We know paying on the come is never a good idea. Get established warriors. That is where winning lay.

Bielema has a career that says he can win in a major conference. The other guy?

Mullen admits Croom left him set up pretty well.

Hopefully UT's next coach can say the same about Botch...

I agree his resume is much better, but he's looked like shit in the SEC too

I think Bret is dumber than mud and Alvarez covered up a lot of his dumbassness as best he could

They could, if Jones is out after this year.

That's the biggest frustration. The talent is clearly there. Loads of talent. Jones is simply being out coached and out-schemed by what are, relatively speaking, laymen in the college football world.

Looked pretty good the end of last season.

The truth is, almost everyone here WERE overly optimistic about Butch by calling him mediocre. He and the staff are collectively worse in-game coaches than Dooley and friends. I'm not kidding. Think about it.

They have a lot more talent, but their game management sucks and their x's and o's suck.

And he thrived in a downish B1G where he only had 3-4 big games a year.

SEC is a different beast from the B1G.

Disagree, which you and I rarely do on coaches. Bielema does business as it should be done. They are just a little short on defense.

That was a good bit due to Chaney and he's gone... Enos was a terrible hire and as schematic misfit.

Don't disagree, but it isn't like he took over one of the Cadilac programs in the league.

3-4 big games is par for the Big 10 course.

Arkansas lost a lot. I'd trade Butch for Bielema at any time.

I agree that hiring a guy who wants to throw more is a bad call. However, I will never give Chaney a bump of credit because the next play he actually calls will be his first.

Enos took over a program left in pretty damned good shape thanks to Chaney and Pittman.

Arkansas wasn't Alabama but it was definitely better off than Oklahoma and Florida. Even with the injuries... Enos should be getting more out of his talent.
