    Without actually knowing, I pretend in the back of my mind that he has turned down enormous offers from UT twice.

    It just make me feel better thinking that.

    The thing about Chip Kelly is that it seems like UT looks for a reason not to make a hire like that and the claims of him being a racist are just the type of thing they can use to sooth themselves for being too incompetent to even get him at the table.

    I am admittedly a little concerned about Chip Kelly. I'm not convinced he wasn't lucky to escape the wrath of the NCAA.

    He wanted the job at one point, and Mike Hamilton told him that they considered him a "mid-tier" coach.
