I guess I've not paid that much attention to Franklin. I just read some of the rape thing at Vandy and you're right - he can burst into flames if that's remotely true. I want Matt Campbell anyway. I really think that dude can get it done. I'll pull Franklin off of my wish list altogether after reading that.

I don't put Freeze in that same class. He called to pay for escorts. I think that's about to be legalized anyway. Might be sleazy but I know way too many people personally who have done things just as bad or worse that have gotten second chances. Not like keeping your mouth shut when you "allegedly" see inappropriate touching of young children by an adult.

 

My concern with Freeze is about the Briarcrest allegations. You can't bring him in to be your head coach with those hanging out there.

Does anyone here really think we're going to pay buyouts for the entire coaching staff plus buyouts for whoever we hire?

I really just don't see it happening this year.

 

Outside of Urban or asking Stoops if he wants back in the game there really isn't a lot to get excited about out there right now.

 

I just think it is a dumb thing to do unless you already know who you are getting, know they are going to come, and know you have the money to cover it all. Otherwise, you're just putting yourself in a bad situation.

 

I think Bill Clark is awesome, but I don't know if he would work here. Fickell seems like a career Big 10 guy. Napier and Healy are the two I think will have the most success over time
