Hooker well positioned for the Heisman with the Schedule

Right, agreed. But Heisman voters, and such. There’s no way the collective media Heisman voters will bestow their award to HH. The narrative that HH is even a serious contender to win it still is simply nonexistent now from the national media.

These guys had it a lot better before Twitter. Like that AP voter guy who kept voting Alabama over us. Feel like before it was all kind of mysterious but now we all know how moronic some of these guys are

Clemson lost by 1, and we lost by a lot, is all I got.

Well, yeah, that's what I'm complaining about. I understand that reality. The reality just doesn't make much sense.

Hooker had 250 yards (his per game average is 285) and 3 TD's against USCjr. Yeah, we lost, and he didn't play spectacular, but it was nowhere close to as bad as CJ Stroud's loss to Michigan.

And then there's the "he missed a game" argument. Why would missing a game against Vandy, a team we beat 56-0 without him (and 2 of our top 3 receivers) negatively impact him? Do we actually care that much about stat padding against shitty teams?

2 of these guys are still "in the running." One isn't even on the board. Makes no sense.

Some of the blue check Heisman overlords are dispatching ravens instructing the public if TCU wins tomorrow it'll be Duggard.

I wonder if Hooker still gets to go to New York as a finalist.

This (and the justification he offers below) is pretty enraging.

Heisman voters do not value player safety. They want them to play hurt.

Heisman is who the media hypes along with a late season play or 2 replayed over and over. That’s it. BS popularity award

Duggan and Hooker have nearly identical stats despite Duggan having access to 2 additional games over Hooker and Hooker having the tougher schedule.

Hooker edges him in both QBR and completion percentage.

But he had his Heisman moment drive in a champ game L and cried.
Caleb Williams shouldn’t get it due to his fingernail messages, according to Heisman description

Also, Blake Corum missed his team’s only competitive game of the season, and they ROLLED without him. And not just that - they RAN all over OSU. How can you win the Heisman when your back up comes in against your toughest opponent and does your job as well, if not better than you?

"How they lost and when they lost."

Yeah, I wish Hooker would have played better on defense for us that night in Columbia. Definitely need to get him off the list due to his shoddy coverage skills. Furthermore, Hooker should have penciled in the defensive collapse in a September game instead of November. His poor planning there is definitely not what you look for in a Heisman winner.

When we lost hurts Hooker, but 4 of the guys on his list have lost more recently.

Imagine being that [uck fay]ing stupid.

Edit: Just realized the tweet was before the conference championship games, but the point remains for Stroud.

The Hypseman Trophy hasn’t mattered since 1998. I don’t know why some of y’all still get worked up over this thing.
