They honestly didn't look amazing against Australia, but all they need is a draw with Spain. Perhaps easier said than done, but doable.

Yep. But even after Australia scored, they were unable to turn it back on. That seems like a bad sign. Although perhaps against Spain there will never be any temptation to turn it off. Still, if there are lapses, the two remaining on their schedule are good enough to punish them.
Sure, the Aussies did good work. But if you want to talk about taking Spain, you shouldn't be struggling with Australia, even Australia playing well.
