I was a good one

 

I yelled at a ref for 3 1/2 qts one night to finally have the side judge tell me,"you know he's deaf don't you!" Honest to goodness it was true.

It was from the horrors of 1A football. There's worse stories from those few years too.

I didn't even tell the part about how thick his glasses were either.

 

Oddly enough, Hyams this morning on Nashville radio said he had 7 different sources that said something happened but all 7 had differing versions of events. He concluded by saying he thinks something happened but it was probably much ado about nothing. I thought that was pretty strong for a UTAD water carrying member to say, especially after Butch and Cheek made their denials yesterday.

 

IMO, whoever is running this play behind the scenes doesn't want this to go all the way as it would stain the program as you say. However, a stain on the program may be better than keeping the 3 stooges in power another year. The best play for both sides is for Butch to ride off into the sunset this offseason with nothing more coming from the incident and the University saving face as well. The worst play for both sides would be Butch/Hart standing firm and forcing the issue, a mutually assured destruction of sorts.

 

As an avid dulcimer player, I could spend hours at Wood-N-Strings talking to Mike.

If you're gonna be a blind ref you should be deaf as well.

 

John Kincade just said that Butch Jones is coaching for his job. First time I heard anyone in the media admit that.
