You said someone did two tours in Vietnam as if that were something a millennial would know nothing about. My brother did two in Afghanistan, and I know many more who served in Iraq as well. The Millennial narrative is absolutely stupid.

2.7 million Americans were deployed in Vietnam. 2.5 million Americans were deployed in Iraq/Afghanistan. The big difference is one was a conscript army and the other a completely volunteer force.
Less than 10% of the population in the boomer generation went to war. That is hardly a large majority. Most had no clue about war (as I don't, nor do I want to know).
