Now that I look at it again, I think all of his "savings" come from higher taxes.

There isn't a lot more annoying than hearing people around my age whining about every perceived slight of Bernie Sanders. It's one thing to like him and feel as though he's the best option, but it feels as though some people genuinely believe that Bernie is really who everyone wants, and the only reason he isn't heading for an electoral college sweep in November is because the DNC, CNN, Wall Street, bankers, corporations, the illuminati, and the sith are 'in the tank' for Hillary.

He's a moron. I was so apathetic towards him a while back that I didn't care one way or the other.

Now that I know what he's pushing, he's on the same level as Trump, in my eyes.

You're so far off of reality on this, the best way to approach this would be for you to forget about all you think you know about socialism. Even putting Hillary with Bernie is amusing.

I'll just try to address this rant a paragraph at a time.

Millennials were raised by the shithead generations before them. Any fault you see in the great trophies for all parables of chain mail fame don't lie with the children who were given them. That's for starters.

The reason Millennials tend to be more open-minded about these sort of things is because they weren't programmed to fear all things not capitalist as instruments of evil. They even understand that contrasting socialism and capitalism is actually not accurate (you could learn from them).

The kool aid they're buying is the one that isn't a system that has them paying for older people's SS when they won't ever see that service, for medicare when they won't ever see that service, leaving them with a massive national debt spent on and by their parents' and grandparents' generations, and probably partially just to thumb their nose at all the people that came before them who smugly and self-righteously tell them how good they have it and how lazy they must be.

I'd say that is a piece you are missing.

I promise you that you don't want us to be taking lessons from nature. Civilization is the antithesis of nature.

save it. the baby boomers have received more "free stuff" from the government than "kids today" probably ever will since your programs have driven the nation into $15 trillion in debt.

god this is the most annoying rhetoric in the world.

haha i just cant get over that people call millennials or whatever the entitlement generation when Baby Boomers took more entitlements than anyone in history. nevermind the booming job market and housing market they walked into. it's too good to be true.

millenials are going to have a huge problem to fix thanks to you all, and at least they are willing to try something a little different than the typical establishment pick. because god know the baby boomer generation and their decisions have ran this country into the position it's in now. AND THE BEST PART?? they blame "the kids these days".

So your answers are smoke weed, climate change, and take everything from people that work and give it to people that "can't find a job", raise minimum wage to $20/hour, raise taxes, and let millions of illegal immigrants into the country, is that about right?

Funny. It's almost like you're one of them and don't know enough to see it. Fantastic.

I understand a lot of people being upset about the current system and people should be pissed off about the cronyism that runs our system now. That's not a result of capitalism though but of people using political power to help reduce and hinder competition.

I don't think expanding government spending by 50 percent and taxing the hell out of everyone is going to do anything but make it worse, but I do think it will have to head in that direction before we finally fix it.

To be fair the past generations have tried to live at the expense of others and wasted a lot of wealth doing so.

We can't undo it but we don't need to double down on government assistance and spending to try to solve it either. We need to do a better job of explaining and teaching free enterprise and how its built the strongest economy in the world, while making even the poor individuals in it rich globally speaking.

the generation hasn't. The government has simply continued to move more in that direction because every politician makes his mark and gets his votes by tossing out govt largesse.

That's why these generations will have huge piles of money tossed at them. Add in our hurt feelings approach to everything on earth and you've got competitiveness issues in almost everything.
