Him possibly telling Fulmer to mind his own business regarding football is a good thing, imo.

Sure but sometimes the people suggesting something else are right.

 

Fulmer making promises without consulting Pruitt, as suggested, is not a good thing.

 

This move was in the works before Pruitt.

 

I think this was well before Pruitt and viewed as an aD hire.

 

And, again, hiring someone to be on the football staff and making promises without the knowledge of the football coach is not necessarily a good thing.

 

My guess. Most won't care right now but will cite it as example A of screw ups if we're sitting at 5-4 in year 4.

 

Fulmer is always going to be a saint to the fanbase. Pruitt's ass is on the line, not Fulmer's.

 

Pruitt's career is on the line and should have full say on the staff that he will ultimately be held accountable for.

 

That sounds really depressing and probable.

 

So, if the AT deal was worked out before JP, did PF tell JP during the interview process?

 

That seems like the million dollar question. And, if he did, what might he have withheld from the conversation?

I guess this answers the question of "Will Fulmer overstep his boundaries as AD?"
