I’ve never heard of the sphere thing on a football field but it sounds similar to UAB’s old uneven practice field

 

I think whoever Pruitt decides to hire in the Director of Player Personnel role (in charge of all aspects of recruiting) it will be someone that he knows and has a history with. Someone that he trust and has SEC experience. It's a very important organizational role for recruiting between all the coaches on staff and the Player Personnel guy. Of course the coaches make the final decisions on players (as it should be) but the Player Personnel Director organizes all aspects of recruiting for the coaches. Thus the trust that is needed.

Interesting Update: Austin Thomas just got his offer pulled from Ole Miss. Just a weird situation.
