I haven't been watching much of ESPN lately, looks like I will be watching less now

 

A politics show on ESPN? That's not new. It's been called SportsCenter for a while

 

I don’t understand why they believe that a show built around Mike Greenberg is going to draw viewers.

 

Wasn’t that basically their morning show until recently?

 

Kind of, the radio show wasn’t built around Greenberg though. It was just the typical nerd and dumb jock morning radio shtick. This is a completely different format with topics ranging from sports to politics to entertainment.

 

I despise the man. How are you going to have a politics show by someone who is terrified of saying anything that will offend anyone?

 

Just have his wife run the teleprompter

 

I’m guessing that’s where Beadle and Rose come in. Greenberg will most likely just navigate the conversation and let them give their opinions. Doubtful that he weighs in on a lot of hot button issues.

Funny you say that. Turns out the executive producer of “Get Up” also used to be EP of The View, as well as The Rachel Maddow Show.

 

My brother offered me his netflix login for my fios login. I accepted and gave him my fios login. I then texted him for his netflix login and he gave it to me. Except that I texted the wrong brother. I could have had free netflix this whole time. And I guess my other brother owes me....something.

 

ESPN front page has a minimum one story about LBJ during the week, most of the time the same regurgitated piece.

LBJ actually breaks a decent enough record last night. Main story? Women's basketball.

 

The new show had approximately 280K viewers for it's initial episode.

 

I have zero clue how that measures up

 

Peppa Pig had 785K at the same time.
