Our kid pitch league has 9 teams, and every team plays twice a week.

You want a [itch bay] of problem to solve? Scheduling 9 teams twice a week over 3 nights.

 

yeah we have only 10-12 games per team in the fall this year. makes it easier.

 

It seems like there would be some software or website that would spit something out for you if you provide the parameters.

 

There is, but we have to do quirky scheduling due to field availability and that's where it gets complicated.

Mondays we play 3 games on 2 fields

Tuesdays we play 2 games on 1 field

Thursdays we play 4 games on 2 fields.

It's manageable, just takes some work.

 

they gave me the "super scheduler" software which must be a decade old at least given by the cd it came from.

why the limitation on the fields?

 

How do you look in a skirt

 

do you accommodate coaches with two kids? i.e. make sure their games don't overlap. apparently they've tried to do this in prior years, but i can't say i want to go overboard.

 

i suggested to my wife that one of the women we know on the board would be better at it than i (i'm right), but she told me i was being sexist.

 

I have a 6th grade OL that comes in at 270

 

I'd have told the organization to derelict my balls. Of course I'm not stupid enough to coach either.

 

Is he good?

 

If he stays with it he’s going to be really good

 

He outweighs my 7th grader by 190 lbs

 

If it makes you feel good, he’d really suck at at flag.

 

Flag was fun. Spread no huddle. He was asked to and could play slot in tackle but we decided not to right now.

 

He outweighs me by 80

 

Because we have 8 softball teams, 4 coach pirch softball teams and 6 softball teams. We dont play on wednesdays because of church (a bible belt thing), dont play on fridays because of high school football (its kind of important here), nor saturdays becauae of tee ball and we are done by noon because of collefe football.

 

Did i mention im coaching a 8u football team and the boy in playing on a 10u team. Typing this from his scrimmage actually.

 

Ha ha. This is what I imagine card has to deal with
