White Lines 4 episodes in. Not bad

 

Decent show. Kind of cheesy and weird how they talk about Axel like it happened yesterday. The scenery is beautiful. What happens in a hypothetical season 2?

 

Ullyses S Grant documentary on History Channel is really good.

 

We finished GoT and moved on to the Sopranos. We had tried starting it a while back, but the girlfriend was distracted and didn’t really get into it. I made her sit down and actually watch it this time, and she’s hooked.

 

Didn't know he was an alien. Templar maybe?

 

They didn't go over that, but they covered his time in the 1850s when he ran a pawn shop on Oak Island.

 

Started Wayward Pines last night. 2 episodes in. Not sure what to think yet.

 

Dark Season 3 (and final season) set to drop Saturday on Netflix. If you haven't seen this show binge watch the first two seasons and get ready for the ride. It's maybe the most well thought out show of all time.

 

wife and I loved it. Most of my friends couldn't handle the dubbing and quit on it. Poor decision, imo.

 

Yes, poor decision. I don't know how it can live up to my expectations but I'm hoping it will. I know season two didn't disappoint and had the most mind numbing twist I've ever seen.

 

Hamilton hits Disney+ Friday.

I'm more excited than I should be over this.

 

We just got a year free of Disney+ from Verizon. There is a LOT of good stuff on there.

 

I have stumbled across a really interesting history series. In this one, they are making a castle using only medieval technology. Apparently it is a 25 year project:

If you like quirky/raunchy comedies on FX, Dave has been hilarious.

 

Man we went through that soundtrack phase something like 3 years ago? Probably still know the words.

 

Just watched Hamilton. First ten minutes I was "Don't get the big deal."

Two and a half hours later I'm going "Ok. That was damn good."

Wasn't life altering like it was for some people, but it was good.

 

It's flipping amazing. Easily the best Broadway show\musical I've watched and it's not close.

 

I remember tuning it out while my wife was playing it on a road trip. Then I realized he had turned the Farewell Address into an incredible song about an hour and a half in. Was listening to it at work a week later.
