Lipscomb Academy beat Milton Ga last night. Milton a top 50 team in the country I believe.
And LA 8th grade team could beat a few HS teams. They are loaded for years to come

Won 19-0 Saturday.

Defense gave up two first downs total, and starting D hasn't given up a point this year.

 

Watching the llws. Some talented kids. Also surprising at this high level, still kids who can’t track a fly ball.

 

I will never ever understand coaches who are getting blown out and leave their starters in when the other team has called off the dogs and put the subs in, especially at the youth level.

 

My hometown lost to Nolensville 10 to 7 at state, and left the bases loaded 3 times. Some of my friends back home have been sick watching them.

 

This Hawaii team in llws is strong. But it’s hard not to question the 10-12 age group when at least 3 of them have mustaches coming in

I've got a couple of friends that questions their bats. I've not watched enough to comment.

 

Something is up, unless they took tryouts from every island and only took the oldest and biggest kids on the island, as in right at age cutoff. Fine if they did, but that’s not how teams from other states are picked. Hawaii may be a true all star team whereas we are neighborhood teams for the most part

 

It's also 100% not allowed.

 

always a red flag when every kid is using the same bat. They usually have a more hollow sound if they’ve been tampered with and I haven’t heard it

 

Saw a 12 year old try to pull a blatant dirty move on a RB last night, only to injure himself in the process. Wanted to scream "drag him off the field" but I refrained.

 

Well, my boy has his first collegiate soccer match tonight. The time? 7 ET.

My dual sports watching skills will be tested.

The real test may be whether or not I watch my boy's game on the computer or project it to my TV, then watch the UT game on my computer. I think I know which one wins there, though.
