I thought it was “stepped on a pop tart” for a long time.

 

Isn't it funny how you hear the wrong words in a song and it is damn hard to change it.

Marshal Tucker Band was always singing "purty little love song" to me until my wife told me it was "heard it in a love song".

 

I loved (still do) Jimmy Buffet. My wife introduced me to his music and I immediately fell in love with it.

A Pirate Looks at Forty still has a big meaning to me, especially now that I am on the other side of forty by a good bit.

 

Tenny on cloud 9 this morning. First gameday of the season and Jimmy kicked the bucket.

 

Fitting he died Labor Day weekend. I literally hung up an autographed guitar of his yesterday (didn’t even know he was sick). This one stings, like a favorite uncle died. I’ve seen him in concert more than any other artist.

im in agreement with Tenny. Never been a fan. At all. But he helped a lot of people enjoy themselves.

 

This planet was never big enough for Jimmy and Tenny. Neither is suffering any longer.

 

Good riddance. I only regret it wasn’t sooner.
