This one is going to be a really tough pull. Likely Ohio State or Alabama at this point based on what I have heard.
Hurd was OSU all the way until Butch set up residents in the lobby and halls of Beech HS..... Some days he would show up and stay through everyone's lunch period and go around and give boxes of pizza and introduce himself to the student body, even after he had "bumped" into Hurd for the day.
He has, but I think there are other factors at play with this recruitment. I personally know some folks involved in this one. Having met this kid a few times, I was really impressed with him not only as a football player, but as a person.
I think Butch stopped by his school... He and Elder are his recruiters but unless they got him at home, I doubt Elser saw him bc he was supposedly asked to not come back to his school.
Something stemming from their days at Cincy... Was originally Butch and Elder but Butch was able to smooth over his end to some degree.
