On the d-line and in having only five healthy true d-linemen

 

The strength and conditioning has been good to great under Butch.

 

The DL is going to look completely different in August with O'Brien, Williams, Barnett and Maggitt being healthy. Right now, Mosley is still a DT too and he's limited. Add in McKenzie, Picou and Taylor and the spring numbers lie. It's a fairly deep spot on the team.

I read things like that, I watch and know Tennessee is good enough talent wise to make noise, but I still get a sick feeling that Tennessee wins 7 games and Butch is considered "on the right track".

 

We are the sort here where we'll believe it when we see it, after what we've seen the first two years.

Yep, as it should be and what we've been sayin' for a while now.

Some good ol' home cookin' --- scratch biscuits, sausage gravy, grits, eggs and pork sausage --- should ease that (sick) feelin'

Progress = 8 reg season wins minimum imo

Those who say, "we're still a year or two away" need to get real. Depth and talent are there. Aside from maybe Georgia no other team in the East is as talented and given their current status FL, GA, and MO are more susceptable now then in recent yrs, all prime for the taking. If Jones is A) a good coach and B) the right coach to lead this team then the time for positive results starts now.

 

The only spot that really gives me pause is the O-line, but he's had plenty of time to address it.
