Between Fulmer (Fulmer Cup) and Saban's influence on Pruitt I don't see any more than a couple of games at this point.
I found this in a CBS article. If the dates correct, this happened right before he signed with UT. And in the 3rd year of his relationship with his current girlfriend. Which makes it hard to believe Pruitt and Tennessee didn't know about it.

Yeah thats a possibility but its also possible he hasnt hit a woman before. Pretty big jump to call someone a woman beater with no proof, but thats what we have to deal with nowadays.

Honestly, there were rumors that they stopped pursuing him before signing day for off the field issues. And I don't believe he signed with us until after NSD, when things might have gotten cleared up.

Yeah, you can chase plenty of those around NSD. I doubt SC is trying to win moral high ground with instate kids.

It's possible but their fans played it off more like they didnt want him from that idea. It's not an uncommon play. Instate kid leaves and state school passed. UT fans do it as well.
I'd much rather him get mad and hit a wall than her. God knows I punched a couple from ages 16 to 21. Yeah, behavior is unsettling, he deserves to be suspended and be on double secret probation, but to the best of my knowledge he hasnt touched her or anyone else.
