Florida killing it on the trail, getting a 5-star DE today to add to their recent flurry of commits. Good news is it sounds like a 4-star OT is about ready to pull the trigger for us.
Max Anderson is likely a guard at this level. Sounds like we will be getting a few commits over the next several weeks.

So what are the thoughts on this class? Still really early but quite a few guys so far. Defensively heavy as well to my eye.
Is mariakis still there? A friend of mine played for him and he's a guy who'll let shit slide if it meant winning, but CCS and Ridgeland are two different animals
Mariakis is on Gary Rankin’s staff at Boyd Buchanan now. CCS just hired Boyd’s former HC Grant Reynolds I think the dismissal of Carter happened under their previous coach though. Think it was the guy who used to coach Baylor. The name escapes me
1. Spot on @SGMVols . Mariakis is top notch and has excellent relationships with everyone. Fantastic hire by Rankin as Mariakis knows everyone and his name goes a long way in the area. 2. RE: your friend's experience. I know what era your buddy played for Mariakis at Ridgeland lol. I'm not sure of the dynamics that were at play but he had a season where every local stud transferred there for their senior season. He's a career .500 coach outside of that one outlier season and I think it burned him for good on taking in recruits as he previously was just a coach'em up and out tough'em Wing-T guy. I think he looked the other way on things that year just to get it the hell over with.
He's had an interesting coaching career. All over the place. Was at Haywood for their mid 90s run, went to be an assistant at MUS, then to the Chattanooga area.
