Him being largely responsible for Tennessee basketball beating [uck fay]ing Duke in an NCAA tournament game is all that Tennessee fans need to dwell on. That alone will always make him a VFL in my book. He has beyond earned the right to be left alone in peace and do whatever the hell he pleases

Gaines does have a nice stroke. It’s tougher in the SEC as Key found out but Gaines is more of an athlete and we should be able to spread the court and have him spot up

Awoka is such a beast and has rebounding skills like Rodman had as far as reading the ball and going to where the rebound is coming and snagging it. Not to dis on Olivier but he had to watch the ball coming down too often to let his engine to go get it. I remember rebounds bouncing and him staring at them. Some are just wired that way. Hard to rewire. Awoka is a natural. He got lost a bit too much on D last year and foul prone, which should improve along with his FTs. He flat out can’t play at end of close games if he can’t creep near 70%

 

He seems to have enough touch that he ought to at least not be a disaster from the FT line before he’s done

 

We’re gonna have a bunch of guys to keep happy this coming season.
