IP's buy out, go fund me idea would serve the same purpose with a little publicity, and it would surely get it.

 

I have no problem with Jones getting killed by the media. Or even the people in power giving him hell.

 

I saw something in it about selling comp'd gear or tickets. Maybe we can convince someone to give him a dollar for something...

 

We've got NYY, now we just need a motorcycle.

 

We'll also need someone to video the incident.

 

In case Butch doesn't have to wear a neck brace. Our luck he'd come out unscathed and get an extension.

Suppose there is a scenario at the end of the season where Botch is told he's gotta get rid of DeBord and he pulls a Cutcliffe and refuses... Can UT then fire him with no obligation to buyout his contract?

 

I understand where you are headed with the question; but if we have the administration in place that is dumb enough to propose a coach cycling through OC's every year we should burn the whole damn thing down.

 

There's usually a negotiated buyout on that situation.

If we have to keep DeBord and Jancek just to keep up the appearance of stability it'll burn itself to the ground...

 

I suppose it's all whizzing into the wind as long as Hart and Cheek still draw paychecks from UT.... I just want this nightmare to be over with...

 

If this season goes how I think it is going to go from here on out, and Jones is not kicked to the curb, then I will have to think long and hard how much more I will give of my time and money (as little as it is) to this school.

 

This probably does them in. They hand picked Tyndall, who was fired with cause.

They handpicked Butch, who has failed miserably.

There are a few boosters saying "I told you" right now that are saying they won't buy anyone out until there's an agreement on who all is leaving.

 

I think he'll win some of the remaining games. Who cares? It's against crap. He won't win any game that matters, unless it's against a team that sucks or plays without a coach.
