3-0 in Atlanta today so that’s 10-0 this summer. Semis tomorrow. Don’t think we win it this week. More talent down here in Ga than was in NC last week.

 

8 days. Tourney in NC and Atl. 12-0. Two championships in 16 team divisions. Very impressed with these kids who compete against each other in HS and able to do this after only 4 practices together.

 

Baby Gronk's dad needs to have the shit beaten out of him for about a week straight.

Doing it up right today

 

Headed up to hotbed area for a lacrosse college showcase event in Haverton, PA. 60+ college coaches there. Drills, agility testing then play 4 games. Interested to see if the kid can hang. He’s done fine at these tournies in the south but it’s a different ballgame up there with kids who have been playing year round since they were in 3rd grade.

 

That's cool, man. Do you think a scholarship offer is down the road?

 

D2 and D3 don’t do scholarships, but I believe they work with academics to try to help. As of right now he’s not a D1 player and even then it’s like baseball with I believe around 10 scholarships, yet there will be 50 players on a team.

 

Football teams starts practice tomorrow night. We would start tonight but I've got 5 kids playing for coach pitch state title. Figured we could go Saturday morning instead.

 

Son started band camp today.

He plays and carries around the tuba and is 37 years my junior. I don't mess with him.

 

As long as kids are doing something. Idle hands and minds and whatnot..

 

I respect tuba and bass drum players. Lugging those things around ain't easy.

 

Football practice starts tonight! 5 kids won a state title in baseball last night, and hit the grid iron tonight!

 

One practice down and one player with a broken collar bone. Yay.

Did you open the first practice with an Oklahoma drill?

 

Kid tripped over his own two feet bone of fastest most athletic lids out there tripped running a relay race at end of practice. He got it good too.
