And I'm not just saying this because I am a 40+ year old white man, but screw Brie Larson. She does not like 40 year old white dudes. And after watching Captain Marvel it's all infested into the movie. All the men except for Fury are negative figures. Marvel is letting this happen and the signed off on it. It's obvious.

 

I need to just block out a week and watch all of these. I wanted to last summer but never did.

 

either I’m not an sensitive about it or we have different definitions of terrible/anti-male.

It was a good tie-in and bridge between the captain America years and the modern movies

 

Post credit scene one is very good considering where we are in the timeline

Brie asked why 40 year old white males critique movies that aren't made for 40 year old white males.

 

She said that and a lot more. There's another quote out there from a different press conference she did where she said "White guys can get to the back of the line", I think it's Washington Examiner that has the quote.

With Brie complaining like that, sounds like she knows the movie isn't that good and she's making excuses blaming the male critics. JMO of course.

Better yet, maybe she should cite some non white male critics who did give the movie a positive review. At least for argument's sake.

Indeed. Malek's an odd dude, which allows him to nail the oddity of Freddie Mercury. Not just that, it was great acting.

 

Queen is solidly in that camp of I get their place, I just don't like them, for me.
