I don't "believe," I KNOW that corporations are entities, perhaps a form of man-made virtual organism, whose goal is financial growth. There is only as much morality or ethics as is necessary to keep from being killed. There is nothing inherently evil about an apex predator such as a lion, but it will eat you and your children if it can. I also know the word "evil" doesn't appear in that column. The whole opinion piece is about corporations being profit-motivated first and foremost, if not exclusively. We both know that is accurate, so what is so wrong with working off of that premise when discussing the decisions and actions of that corporation?
Was told this as a kid. Was even told the CEO admitted it on national television. Which of course is a lie. One of many lies "Christians" tell one another.
I don't think Hobby Lobby should pay their employees because they might use that pay to get contraceptives.
I posted this on VN but I think it's funny that Hobby Lobby sells a bunch of shit made in China, considering China's abortion practices. I guess it is ok so long as it is good for their profit margin but when they have to pay out for insurance, suddenly they have issue with it.
